We are excited to announce the rebranding of the club previously known as Northside Crusaders for the 2024-25 Summer Season and beyond. We would invite all current and future members to join the pack at the Everton Timberwolves, an affiliated club of Northside Wizards Basketball.
While rebranding the club we considered a number of historical factors from this area of Brisbane. The new name reflects Everton Park and its surrounds history of sawmills operating from the 1880’s through to the early 1900’s and emphasising the suburbs early connection to the timber industry.
This is an exciting new period for the association with the Timberwolves taking on a new management committee under Jason Ernest as the manager, presenting existing Crusaders members the opportunity to continue to be involved in an association affiliated with Basketball Queensland and providing a full development pathway for its coaches and athletes.
As the Northside Crusaders club will remain part of Northside Wizards through to the end of the Winter Season, the club will appear on Basketball Connect as the Northside Crusaders/Everton Timberwolves until we make the full transition in September.
