Located on the north side of Brisbane, and incorporated in 2011, our players are drawn from Brisbane north and Moreton Bay areas.
Bobcats continue to grow and develop into a competitive domestic club in the Northside Wizard’s Association Junior Competition.
During the 2023 seasons, Bobcats have over 300 players for boys from under 10’s to under 21’s across more than 40 teams.
Like most domestic basketball clubs, finding experienced and knowledgeable Coaches is always a challenge and continually sought after highly valued resource.
All Coaches and Team Managers are volunteers willing to give their time to help deliver a great basketball experience, smiles are our scoreboard.
Brendale Bobcat players who compete during the season gain eligibility to trial for Northside Wizard’s Representative teams.

Times: Please arrive 20min early to check in and measured for singlets
- Under 12s (2013, 2014) 5pm – 6pm
- Under 14’s (2011,2012) 6pm – 7pm
- Under 16’s (2010, 2009) 7pm – 8pm
- Under 18’s (2008, 2007) 8pm – 9pm
- Under 10’s and 21’s not required

WHAT TO WEAR?
- Any comfortable shorts to play basketball in
- Any non-marking shoes (basketball shoes or joggers)
- A reversible basketball singlet. If you do not have a reversible singlet, please bring a light and a dark coloured singlet.
- Nikko pen will be drawn on the top of your arm upon entry (to identify you) and therefore…. NO T-SHIRTS, NO T-SHIRTS, NO T-SHIRTS.

Please note that Northside Wizards have restructured competition days and as such games will now be played across both NISC (Zillmere) and SPSC (Brendale) on the following days.
- All divisions U21 will play on Wednesday nights at NISC
- U12 – U18 Div 1 on Friday nights @ NISC
- U10 All Divisions, U16 and U18 Division 2 and below on Saturdays @ NISC
- U12 – U14 Div 2 and below on Sundays at NISC

There are no changes to age groups for this coming season. Please refer to the below age chart for clarity.

Training:
Training is 1 hour per week on either Monday or Wednesday – this will depend on the Coaches availability & Court availability (usually between 4:30pm to 8:30pm)

Uniforms:
- You will need to provide a plain black pair of shorts with no pockets or zippers.
- The club will provide a playing singlet for the Season.
- All singlets are to be collected by the team managers at the end of every game and returned to the club at the end of the season.
