Located on the north side of Brisbane, and incorporated in 2011, our players are drawn from the Pine Rivers and Brisbane north areas and play in the Northside Wizards basketball competition.
Although only a young club, Bobcats continue to grow and develop into a competitive domestic club in the Northside Wizard’s Association Junior Competition.
During the 2016 seasons, Bobcats had over 150 players for boys from under 11’s to under 19’s. For the 2017 Grading season, Brendale continues with over 150 players in 18 teams with the  potential to grow more teams for the Championship season.
Like most domestic basketball clubs, finding experienced and knowledgable Coaches is always a challenge and continually sought after highly valued resource.
Brendale Bobcat players who compete during the Championship season gain eligiblity to trial for Northside Wizard’s Rep teams. Trials for these Rep teams usually occurs in July, with a Rep Camp prior to the Rep season beginning in term four of each year.

Venue: Southpine Indoor Sports Centre- 620 Southpine Rd, Brendale, Courts 1-3.
Times:
- Under 11’s (2013, 2014) 5:30pm – 6:30pm
- Under 13’s (2011,2012) 5:30pm – 6:30pm
- Under 15’s (2010, 2009) 6:30pm – 7:30pm
- Under 17’s (2008, 2007) 6:30pm – 7:30pm
- Under 19’s not required
WHAT TO BRING?
- Basketball (WHICH IS NAMED)

- Listening Ears, and lastly,
- A good attitude.
WHAT TO WEAR?
- Any comfortable shorts to play basketball in
- Any non-marking shoes (basketball shoes or joggers)
- A reversible basketball singlet. If you do not have a reversible singlet, please bring a light and a dark coloured singlet. Nikko pen will be drawn on the top of your arm upon entry (to identify you) and therefore…. NO T-SHIRTS, NO T-SHIRTS, NO T-SHIRTS.

Please note that Northside Wizards have restructured competition days and as such games will now be played across both NISC (Zillmere) and SPSC (Brendale) on the following days.
- All divisions U19 will play on Wednesday nights at NISC
- U11 – U17 Div 1 on Friday nights across both NISC and SPSC
- U11 Div 2 and below and U13 – U17 Div 2-3 on Saturdays across both NISC and SPSC
- U13 – U17 Div 4 and below on Sundays at NISC

Training:
Training is 1 hour per week on either Monday or Wednesday – this will depend on the Coaches availability & Court availability (usually between 4:30pm to 8:30pm)
Training Venue:
South Pine Sporting Complex – 620 South Pine Rd, Brendale
Uniforms:
- You will need to provide a plain black pair of shorts with no pockets or zippers.
- The club will provide a playing singlet for the Season.
- All singlets are to be collected by the team managers at the end of every game and returned to the club at the end of the season.
