This introduction to basketball program aims to teach children aged between 8 and 10 years the skills and rules of the game. Players will have fun learning how to shoot, dribble and pass as they begin to play actual games of basketball. Players are taught how to enjoy the sport and play the game fairly, simultaneously preparing them to join a team in our junior club competition. The program is delivered at multiple venues in term blocks (8 Sessions) on a modified court. It runs in the after-school and weekend time slots, during the school term but not during school holidays.
