AUSSIE HOOPS WIZKIDZ
Torque Ford Aussie Hoops WizKidz is for young players who are new to basketball. Under this banner we offer the following programs and competitions:
JUNIOR CLUB COMPETITION (DOMESTIC)
This is our weekly competition for both new and experienced junior players. This is the ideal place to get involved if you have recently completed a WizKidz program or your child falls outside of the WizKidz age bracket. Separate competitions are played for each age group from U10s through to U18s.
SENIOR CLUB COMPETITION (DOMESTIC)
This is our weekly competition for both new and experienced young adult/adult players aged 15 and over. If you're in this age bracket and want to play basketball in a team every week, this is the competition for you. Games are played on weeknight evenings (Monday to Thursday) and a mixed competition plays on Sunday.
JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVE COMPETITION
The South Queensland Junior Basketball Competition (SQJBC) is a representative competition conducted in the south-east region of Queensland. The competition caters for Under 12 to Under 18 age groups in both boys and girls. Players are selected to represent Northside Wizards in this competition which provides a pathway for elite junior players representing their associations.
SENIOR REPRESENTATIVE COMPETITION
NBL1 is the elite adult competition in Queensland. It is a semi-professional basketball league, consisting of South, North, Central, West and East Conferences across Australia with both men's and women's competitions. Northside Wizards competes in the North conference and you must be selected in order to play in this league.
