Mastering the Mental Game: Navigating Sports Parenting Challenges

Dr. Jo Lukins, boasts over three decades of experience and holds a Ph.D. in Psychology. Her personal journey through parenting her athletic sons and her extensive professional experience across various elite sports leagues, including 27 years in the National Rugby League (NRL), 4 years in the NBL, 14 years in the WNBL, and her role as the Mental Skills Coach for the PNG Orchids at the Rugby League World Cup and Pacific Championships, has honed her expertise.

Dr. Lukins is the author of three impactful books: The Elite, In the Grandstands, and The Game Plan. With her fourth book, Belief, set to launch in 2024, her writing dive into the world of sports psychology, offering valuable insights, strategies, and guidance for parents, athletes, coaches, and officials pursuing peak performance and personal growth.
