Boys under 8s (Boys born 2015 – 2016)
This mini-competition is specifically for players that have completed a minimum of one term of Wizkids and are turning 6, 7 or 8 (Under 8s) in 2024. It is the next level to our existing Wizkids program and the transitional step between learning to play and joining into club competition. The players are placed into teams to train first, then play against an opposing Wizkids side. Children will experience real gameplay with adjusted hoops and modified rules. There are no ladders or scoreboards – just a fun environment for children to enjoy the game of basketball. This competition will be played on Saturday morning at the Southpine Sport Centre, Brendale
Girls Competition (Girls born 2011 – 2016)
This competition is to prepare the girls for the NGBL Competition. The girls will be placed into balanced teams in a train and play format. This is a modified competition and will be refereed to modified club standards. At the end of this season the coaches and Wizards staff will be making recommendations on moving into our NGBL competition. This competition will be played on Saturday morning at the Southpine Sport Centre, Brendale
