Basketball Queensland (BQ) has announced a new partnership with World Sport Action to bring BasketballConnect to Queensland.
The brand-new, customised competitions platform has been designed with our basketball community in mind to make administration, playing, officiating, and coaching easier.
BasketballConnect is designed to deliver the best possible user experience for our associations and members and will replace our current membership database, competitions software and courtside scoring app in 2023.
Northside Wizards will be transitioning to using the BasketballConnect platform for our Winter Domestic Season 2023. We are currently using BasketballConnect for our Term 1 Wizkids and U16 Representative Program.
Do members need to do anything to prepare for the transition?
We recommend members login and check their current registration details in GameDay now.
Why do I need to check and update my registration details?
Basketball Connect will migrate your contact information and latest Basketball Qld registration details from GameDay into Basketball Connect.
How do I check my registration details?
Login to GameDay Passport (mygameday.app) using your GameDay credentials
What should I check and update?
Check your information – you will be able to update your phone number and address however if your name or date of birth require updating please email [email protected]
What happens if I enter my name or date of birth differently when I register in the new database?
Your profile will not match in Basketball Connect when you process your first registration and the system will require you to create a new profile and pay an additional Basketball Queensland registration fee
When should I check and update my registration details?
The available period for updates is from Monday 6th February until Thursday 9th February. After this date any changes will miss the migration into Basketball Connect
