We’re excited to let you know that the information & registration for our 2023/2024 Summer Season is here!

We heard your feedback in the recent Northside Wizards Member Survey & we’re committed to providing more information to you ahead of your registration. Registrations at this point in time are open to existing members only.

The season structures have been developed in consultation with our club managers, registrars and coach coordinators using their vast experience in working with the members as well as the information attained through our recent customer satisfaction survey.

The change in age groups to the even ages allows for better alignment of our competitions with the Basketball Queensland calendar and removes the uncertainty of playing conditions in these competitions with appropriate ball sizes and rules (i.e.,zone defence). The age group change also allows for the introduction of an Under 10’s and a U21 competition into the senior competition structure.

The expansion of our footprint to play across multiple venues on competition days is by design to allow for the growth of numbers into the future and to strategically secure these venues for use in the future by Northside Wizards Basketball.

A rotation of game days for our lower grade competitions between the two seasons was requested by the clubs to allow for less interruption of teams due to representative basketball.

It is our intention for this structure to be in place for the next year and will be reviewed with our members to determine its success and our direction beyond the next 12 months.
